First in Bedding
We, Sanders South Africa – First in Bedding (Pty) Ltd. opened our sales office on March 1st, 2009 in Cape Town. Our company is a 100 % daughter company of Gebr. Sanders GmbH & Co. KG in Germany. Our first successful introduction to the South African Market was at the HOSTEX in Johannesburg, March 15 – 18, 2009.
Sanders South Africa provides high quality duvets and pillows for the hospitality industry, retailers, wholesalers , hospitals as well as private consumers in South Africa . From Cape Town Sanders exports into the African continent.
We keep a large warehouse in Cape Town to make sure to supply our clients on short notice with replacements and small to medium order sizes. All our products are imported from our mother company in Germany. We aim to build up production in South Africa within the next two years.
Our mother company Sanders of Germany, based in Bramsche, is an old-established family business.

The brothers Gustav Wilhelm and Otto Sanders set up the company in 1885. In 1958 the Company was taken over by Kurt Sanders (50%) and Dieter Sanders (50%). Then in 1988 the management and shares were assumed by Hans- Christian Sanders (67%) and his two sisters (33%).
Sanders corporate philosophy is based on offering best products, operating as cost leader and innovation guide as well as being a reliable, fair, loyal and transparent partner at any time. Amongst others Sanders product portofolio includes fibre and down proof fabrics, feather and down filled pillows, pre-assembled shells, neck support pillows, allergies and health products as well as brand products. The company is today regarded as the first address for fine-threaded tight fabrics with best usage properties. Innovative bedding was added in 1993 which is unique throughout the world.
All of these products are made with top-quality raw materials, state-of-the-art technology and with the high quality awareness of our employees.
